The treatment consists of a half-hour in the oxygen spa, which is in a sauna cabinet that you sit in. The steam heat causes your body to sweat profusely. Though the temperature can be adjusted, it does get extremely hot and is therefore not recommended for heart patients or people with very weak constitutions!
Sweating is incredibly detoxifying in its own right, and is a mechanism by which your body fights infection, i.e., fever, which is why you get a temperature when you are sick. Sweating is also one fo the three ways your body detoxifies itself. The others are urination and defecation, which are discussed in greater detail in Colonic Irrigation.
While you’re in the spa, you will be absorbing oxygen through every pore in your body, which is fully opened due to the sweating. Sweating also is the mechanism through which all these toxins that are chelated out by the oxygen are eliminated from the body. These toxins are sometimes so caustic that you must take a shower immediately after your treatment; a shower is included after each session.
The oxygen spa uses a form of ozone which is O2, or pure oxygen, with a molecule of oxygen added to it, making it O3.
The significance of this is that regular oxygen is only about 10% absorbable by your body. Adding the molecule of oxygen makes it more like 100% absorbable.
The maching that converts it was invented by Nicola Tesla in the early part of the 20th century. This technology was used by medical doctors in the early part of the century to cure all sorts of diseases and conditions. Although it was highly effective, this modality fell out of favor due to the intervention of the American Medical Association.
All Body Activities Require Oxygen
Oxygen is a life giving, life sustaining element. The best way to optimize health is to oxygenate every cell in the body. The more oxygen we have in our systems, the more energy we produce and the more efficiently we can eliminate waste.
Oxygen is the most vital element for human life and is the key to good health. We can survive without water for days and go without food for much longer, but we can only live a few minutes without oxygen.
Good health is dependent on the production, maintenance and flow of energy which is produced by the oxygenation (burning) of sugar. Oxidation is central to metabolism, circulation, respiration, digestion, assimilation and elimination. Oxygen purifies the blood, keeping it free of cellular waste build up. Sufficient oxygen allows the body to rebuild itself and maintain the immune system.
The link between insufficient oxygen and disease of all types has been firmly established for over 100 years. Insufficient oxygen can result in anything from mild fatigue to life-threatening disease.
Dr. Otto Warburg was awarded the Noble prize in 1931 for discovering the cause of cancer. He said, “Cancer has only one prime cause. The prime cause of cancer is the replacement of normal oxygen respiration of body cells by an anaerobic (oxygen-less) cell respiration.”
